Plughugger has announced a new cinematic soundset created as a versatile toolkit for film and television scoring.
Rather than concentrating on a single style, Focus for u-he’s Diva virtual analog synthesizer spans from ’80s-inspired brassy pads to dark textures influenced by the psychological tension of David Lynch.
The main emphasis is on pads and evolving soundscapes designed to complement acoustic instruments, adding depth, emotion and atmosphere while leaving space for the score. Whether writing intimate drama, suspense, science fiction or psychological horror, Focus is designed to inspire musical ideas.
Focus contains 161 sounds in the following categories:
- 6 bass sounds.
- 12 arpeggios & sequences.
- 7 effects.
- 68 pads & strings.
- 24 synth sounds.
- 44 textures & soundscapes.
The soundset is on sale at an introductory 60% discount, priced €9.90 EUR until September 13th, 2026 (regular €24.90 EUR). Use coupon code FOCUS at checkout to get the discount.
