Pontaku Audio has announced an update to its audio plugin that is designed to help you turn everyday objects into new sounds.
Chronoform brings tape-style playback speed manipulation into your DAW for Foley and sound design. Version 1.4 adds sample-accurate automation, step time and a redesigned GUI.
Chronoform is a varispeed plugin for sound design. It changes playback speed, pitch, and duration together.
Like changing the speed of an open-reel tape machine, Chronoform lets you slow a sound down while lowering its pitch and extending its duration. Play Rate can be controlled from 0.25× to 1.0× in real time, and it can also be automated from the DAW.
Available for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU, AAX and CLAP), Chronoform is offered at 30% off regular for two weeks only (regular $49.90 USD).
