Portway DSP has introduced a physics-driven auto-panner with a ping-pong delay, sweepable filter, and a game mode.
A ball bounces around a play-field; its position drives the panning and the filter cutoff, and each bounce feeds a stereo ping-pong delay. Rate, launch angle and bounds shape the motion.
Because an auto-panner and a filter map so neatly onto a game of Pong, PingPan lets you play the game directly in your DAW. Tap the logo to enter Game Mode and control the paddle with your mouse — or with any MIDI instrument, where the highest and lowest notes you hold set the top and bottom edges of the paddle.
Available in VST3 and AU plugin formats and as a standalone app for macOS and Windows, PINGPAN is on sale for the intro price of $9 USD for a limited time (regular $29 USD).
