Pearl & Tama drums recorded into Protools 7 using Audix D series mics, Avalon 737sp analog tube channel strip. We spent FOREVER getting the recording process ‘just right’…STEP 2 – WE PUSHED THEM HARD…
We pushed each recording to the absolute limit! Advanced drum processing techniques were used (Transient Shaping, Layering, Compression, EQ etc) to make sure these drums cut throughout the mix like a hot knife through butter!
