PSP Audioware has released an update to its vintage-style compressor effect plugin suite. Version 2.3.0 of PSP oldTimerME (Mastering Edition) focuses on stability and compatibility improvements with the latest DAWs and operating systems, especially in Ableton Live and Bitwig.
PSP oldTimerME combines advanced features such as the option to process left, right, mid or side channel exclusively while remaining simple to set up.
In the case of PSP oldTimer, our goal was to provide a simple compressor that offers an exceptionally musical sound while requiring minimal tweaking. PSP oldTimer is so simple and so easy to use, that it’s difficult to make it sound bad even at the most extreme settings! These compressors offer soft and smooth compression in most applications, however they may slightly color the sound with their tube emulation on transients when heavily driven internally by high compression values.
Changes in PSP oldTimerME v2.3.0
- Added the favorite presets system.
- Added the ability to define a user default preset for all newly created plug-in instances.
- Added preset name editing functionality.
- Improved VST3 plugin stability in Ableton Live.
- Manual update.
The update is free for existing users. New customers can purchase PSP oldTimerME for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX) for $99 USD at Plugin Boutique, AudioDeluxe and from the PSP store.
