Pulsar Modular has introduced an update to its spatial effect plugin which combines a BBD analog delay and plate reverb to deliver and organic feel and behavior.
Version 2.5.0 of P930 Lunar Lander comes with a new delay mode, improvements to the preset management, new presets, and more.
P930 Lunar Lander is not just a reverb, and it is not just a delay. It is a spatial instrument designed to deliver classic studio ambience, time-based effects, and modulation within a single, coherent workflow.
Plate reverb, digital reverb, delay, and modulation are combined in a modular architecture that behaves like hardware and adapts naturally to real production needs.
Changes in P930 Lunar Lander v2.5.0
- Modern BBD mode: A new delay voicing that extends the BBD engine beyond traditional limits. Modern mode offers wider bandwidth, smoother modulation, and cleaner repeats while preserving analog character, making it ideal for ambient textures, rhythmic echoes, widening, and contemporary production styles.
- Advanced preset management: A completely redesigned preset system with full organizational control:
- Drag-and-drop preset ordering.
- Create custom subcategories.
- Rename, duplicate, and reorganize presets.
- Import and export preset banks.
- Mark favorites for instant recall.
- Cleaner, faster navigation.
- 100+ new presets: A broad new library covering classic hardware flavors, modern ambience, vocal spaces, plates inspired by EMT-140 and early digital 224-style diffusion, analog delays, modulation effects, cinematic textures, and specialized mix tools.
- General enhancements: System optimizations, UI refinements, and stability improvements.
This update is free for existing P930 Lunar Lander users. New customers can purchase the plugin (VST3, AU and AAX) for $180 USD.
Pulsar Modular has also released an iOS/AUv3 version, which preserves the same reverb, delay, modulation, and dynamics architecture found in the desktop version, while introducing workflows that are only possible on a touch device.
On iOS, Lunar Lander can be operated with multiple fingers simultaneously. Several parameters can be adjusted at the same time, removing the sequential nature imposed by a mouse. This makes it possible to shape space in a continuous, performance-oriented way. Reverb input, delay time, modulation depth, feedback, and dynamics can be moved together, allowing spatial transitions to be played rather than programmed. In this context, Lunar Lander naturally lends itself to live performance, reinforcing its role as a spatial instrument rather than a static effect.
Available to purchase at the App Store for $19.99 USD, the iOS version supports preset import and export, allowing presets to move freely between iOS and desktop versions of P930 Lunar Lander.
