QiOO has released a macOS kick and rumble synthesizer plugin built specifically around the anatomy of a heavy electronic kick drum.
SUBTERRAIN signal-chains a three-source kick engine into shaping, rumble, space, filter, and gain stages. The plugin aims to generate a dark, controllable aftershock from every hit independently of the dry impact, with an eight-step tail rhythm shaper for turning the reverb decay into its own rhythmic element.
Its synthesized kick engine, layered sources and purpose-built effects chain create powerful techno drums, rolling low-end and dark rhythmic reverb tails.
