Rast Sound has announced the release of an update to its audio effect plugin that aims to turn any sound into music. Version 1.5 of Transformer includes two new modes, expanded LFO capabilities and new presets.
Transformer extracts melody and harmony from anything you feed it — drums, noise, vocals, textures. Four tuned resonators, five sonic modes, built-in modulation.

- Mode D (Muted/Pluck) — tight, controlled resonance for drums and percussion.
- Mode E (Shimmer/Ambient) — detuned strings and extended decay for atmospheric textures.
- LFO presets for quick modulation setups.
- LFO micro-randomiser.
- 20 global factory presets.
- Refined interface with dark mode default.
Transformer for Windows and Mac (VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale for €49 EUR for a limited time (regular €79 EUR). The update is free for previous owners.
