Rigid Audio has introduced its latest Kontakt instrument library Ion Storm, a “Cinematic Transition Designer” that can be used to create all kinds of transitional elements such as up- and downlifters, pitch-risers, noise-sweeps and the like.
It is based on five distinct sound engines and comes with 256 categorized presets. There are 32 Wavetables, 128 percussive elements and 128 granular instruments.
Ion Storm features modwheel playback manipulation, a dedicated mix page as well as onboard effects like waveshaping, distortion, filter and reverb. Furthermore, you can randomize each preset with a single button.
Available for the full version of Kontakt 6.4.2 or higher, Ion Storm is on sale for the intro price of $9 USD until February 15th, 2023 (regular $49 USD).
