Rob Papen has introduced the successor of its kick drum synthesizer instrument developed in conjunction with Dutch Hardcore and Hardstyle producers.
RAW-Kick 2 comes with a new main screen, allowing users to combine 3 layers using the many layer presets, and fast changes to a sound by providing the most important parameters. The updated instrument also features a ‘Ribbon Controller’ which allows dynamic changes to the sound, with the unique temp-based spring back feature.
In each layer, you can select a dedicated kick synthesizer model or use a sample-based layer inside the Main screen, and if you like to go deep… simply go advanced! The advanced panel offers all the deep editing features, making RAW-Kick 2 the most powerful kick-drum synthesizer on this planet!
The features of ‘Kick Model’ and ‘Sample-based Model’ were expanded, for example, with multi-stage envelopes for pitch and volume. Granular mode for the sample-based model is available, with unique modulation options to dynamically change the ‘length’ and ‘size’. The Master section also offers neat features to give the finishing touch and create the perfect Kick! RAW-Kick 2 ships with presets from these respected producers in various music styles!
Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for Windows and macOS, RAW-Kick 2 is on sale at Plugin Boutique and from Rob Papen for the intro price of 69 USD/EUR until May 31st, 2026 (regular 79 USD/EUR). Owners of the original RAW-Kick can upgrade for 39 USD/EUR during the promotion.
