SampleStack has recently launched its native macOS sample library manager and multisample instrument builder that validates, converts, and exports audio to match exactly what a target sampler expects.
SampleStack auto-detects a library’s device structure and checks sample rate, bit depth, channels, duration, and filenames against a target’s spec, converting and renaming in batches so files land ready to use.
It validates, converts, and exports your audio for hardware and software samplers, from a Morphagene reel to a Decent Sampler instrument, so every file lands in the format and layout its destination expects.
SampleStack features
- Library browsing with auto-detected device structure, color-coded validation, tags, ratings, categories, notes, BPM, and key.
- Multisample building: Drop in one-shots for automatic pitch detection and keyboard mapping, or import existing SFZ and Decent Sampler instruments (including .dslibrary archives and keyswitched libraries) to work from.
- Non-destructive audio editing with zoomable waveform, cue points, transient detection, linear/logarithmic fades, crop, cut, split, and equal-gain loop crossfades.
- Export to SFZ, SoundFont 2, Decent Sampler (with artwork and controls), Ableton Sampler, disting EX/NT, and 1010music Bitbox, with zone-thinning by pitch, round robins, or velocity layers.
- Support for 40+ hardware targets, including the Morphagene, Squid Salmple, Digitakt/Digitakt II, Octatrack MKII, Blackbox, MPC Live II/One, SP-404MKII, S2400, and Volca Sample.
SampleStack is available on the Mac App Store for macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later. Users can try the app for free with a 7-day trial, with an annual subscription or one-time lifetime license as an in-app purchase for $24.99 USD and $49.99 USD, respectively.
