Scaler Music has announced an update to its powerful music theory workstation and composition tool for Windows and macOS.
Version 3.3 of Scaler 3 introduces various new improvements, including multi-bind, upgraded detection, a unified timeline across pages, improved voice grouping, new content, and a more flexible way to work with motions.

Changes in Scaler v3.3
- Multi-Bind lets different tracks be bound to keyboard regions simultaneously.
- Motions can be dragged between tracks, auditioned using the current track’s sound.
- Upgraded Detection workflow, and detection now responds to internal Scaler keyboard.
- Detection Results saved in Detection History and new ‘Detect’ ChordSet category.
- Horizontal Resize lets you see more of the timeline at once
- User Motion is now “User Track”, and can be created from the Motion Browser.
- Timeline is now visible across Browse, Create and Arrange tabs, the playhead can be dragged and its position synchronizes across all three pages.
- Scenes can be multiselected with Shift-click.
- Right-click to Insert at Playhead Position & Replace at Playhead Position.
- Chords are replaced with new ones of equal length.
- Voice Grouping retains the chord root for inversions and slash chords, extract workflow improved.
- Settings, Presets and Sessions now work more smoothly and effectively
- Many other updates, improvements and fixes.
