Scaler Music has announced the next evolution of its patented musical EQ.
Scaler EQ Pro‘s key-aware Harmonic Peak filters return, upgraded with entirely new architecture – select your musical key, and your boosts act only on in-key frequencies, and your cuts only on out-of-key frequencies.
Scaler EQ Pro brings musical intelligence to every stage of mixing, mastering and sound design. Shape frequencies in relation to notes, scales and harmony, control the low and high end dynamically, or even play your EQ from MIDI – all while keeping the musical context at the heart of your sound.
New bass and high-frequency compressors have been added, and a brand new Live Band introduces MIDI control over the plugin’s harmonic EQ filters.
Many great features are also retained from version 1, including Magic Shelf filters, which boost mid and side frequencies in different amounts for bass and treble; and dynamic bands, which turn any frequency band – including the in-key Harmonic Peak filters – into a dynamic filter with Ratio, Threshold, Attack and Release controls.
Scaler EQ Pro for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX) is available to purchase at Plugin Boutique and from Scaler Music for $99 USD. Existing owners of Scaler EQ (version 1) can upgrade to Pro for $29 USD.
