Serato has announced an update to its DJ software, unlocking additional compatibility for previously non-Serato DJ hardware, including the Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 and Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB.
The update empowers a new set of DJs by broadening access to Serato’s innovative creative tools. DJs can breathe fresh life into their hardware and transform the way their sets are performed with Serato Stems, which quickly isolates vocals, melodies, basslines, and drums in real-time – advancing creative possibilities for two beloved hardware devices.
Serato DJ 3.3.2 expands upon an era of hardware support for the brand following the DJ 3.2.1 update last year, which marked Serato’s first compatibility extension with non-Serato DJ hardware. DJ 3.2.1 extended support to Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3, Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S3, Pioneer DJ DDJ-200, and Pioneer DJ DDJ-400.
Now, with this latest release, Traktor Kontrol Z2 and DDJ-RB users can discover a new way to play with the gear they know and love with Serato’s proprietary stem-separation technology and suite of performance-driven features.
Serato DJ 3.3.2 is available to download now. The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 is now supported in Serato DJ Pro, and the Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB is now supported in both Serato DJ Lite and Pro.
