Sinevibes has announced the availability of its KORG FX series plugins for the microKORG2 synthesizer by KORG. This became possible thanks to the all-new software update 2.0 for the microKORG2 released just today – which, among many other features, adds support for KORG’s bespoke plugin development framework.
The Sinevibes team has worked closely with KORG engineers to port and optimize their second-generation KORG FX series plugins specifically for the hardware architecture of the microKORG2.
A total of 15 plugins are immediately available, including KORG user favorites such as the Albedo v2 granular cloud reverb, Corrosion v3 multi-algorithm distortion, and Rerun self-randomizing repeater.
In addition, the brand has announced two all-new plugin titles, which will be available very soon as free downloads:
- Atom dynamic multi-mode filter
- Drift v2 wind turbulence simulator
Sinevibes promises that thanks to the unique features and musical tuning, its KORG FX plugin series is able to dramatically elevate the sonic powers of microKORG2 – up to the levels of dedicated outboard processors – while keeping everything easily accessible inside a single portable device.
Sinevibes KORG FX series plugins are immediately available to purchase for $19 USD each, as a bundle of 15 products for $149 USD. Each package now comes with six specialized formats including KORG prologue, minilogue xd, NTS-1, NTS-1 mkII, NTS-3 and microKORG2.
The updated versions with microKORG2 format are available at no extra cost to customers who have already bought respective plugins.
