Softube has introduced two new audio plugins which authentically capture legendary passive tube EQs.
Reference 1998 Equalizer gives you the renowned tone-shaping capabilities and creative possibilities of the original classic unit for mastering and more. Reference 1956 Equalizer gives you characteristic sound, plus modern features like Mid/Side functionality and separate gain controls.
Together, they pack a hell of an EQ punch. Combine them with our Equalizers plug-in and you can really put the “modern” in modern classic.
Available for Windows and macOS (VST/VST3, AU and AAX), the plugins are on sale for the intro price of $79 USD / 79 EUR each at the Softube store and from distributors such as AudioDeluxe and Plugin Boutique.
The bundle of both plugins is $89 USD, and a Equalizers + Reference Equalizers Bundle is $99 USD during the promotion, which expires September 12th, 2026.
