Solidtrax has introduced new sound expansion with 128 patches for Roland’s Studio Electronics series SE-02 analog synthesizer featuring a powerful 16-step sequencer designed to add motion and dimension to your sounds.
Analog Magic includes 128 custom designed presets which provide a wide range of rich and powerful sounds for this affordable yet highly capable mono synthesizer, including everything from soaring mono leads to drums, basses to keys, effects to chord sounds and organs to bell tones.
The Studio Electronics SE-02 is a collaboration between Studio Electronics (SE) and Roland. It is, in a way, an evolution of the Minimoog Model D but with tweaks from SE derived from their Omega, Boomstar series and the SE-1X. Although designed thru hole in the beginning, Roland converted it to surface mount. This way it is not only a compact machine, but also a very stable machine to say the least, but not too stable. Just right: it can be soft, or at your command, it will scream – and everything in between!
With added features like XMOD, a dedicated PWM LFO, a digital delay effect, an LFO with 9 waveforms, tempo sync, different trigger modes, aftertouch, velocity, a hardware feedback option and a sequencer, the SE-02 is no slouch. Furthermore, it boasts three analog VCOs, noise, feedback, an LFO that can act as an envelope, 512 factory patches – since firmware 1.10 – and room for 128 user patches, to name a few features. On top of that, it features extensive MIDI control and almost no menu diving due to the dedicated controls.
The soundset is available at an introductory 30% discount with coupon code AMINTRO at the checkout (regular 25 EUR incl. VAT). The offer expires February 28th, 2025.
