Sonic Zest has announced the release of its new Kontakt instrument library Electric Rain, featuring the sounds of a Fender Telecaster.

Sonic Zest Electric Rain

Octave tremolos were recorded across its full range so you can play chords, resulting in textures and nanoscopic details beautifully weaving in and out.

Octave tremolos are when you play the same note, an octave apart, in quick succession. For example cycling between A3 and A4 rhythmically and dynamically.

We’ve drenched these samples in effects [there’s also a clean setting so don’t worry]. The result is a shimmering, sometimes even organ-like, swelling and evolving soundscape that’s as wide and as full as an orchestra.

So press download, turn off the lights, put your headphones on and get Sonic Zest’s Electric Rain under your fingertips.

Electric Rain features

  • Kontakt instrument of a deeply sampled Fender Telecaster playing octave tremolos.
  • 6x round robins (3 natural round robins + 3 borrowed round robins)
  • In addition to the main patch there are additional sound design patches.
  • 113 MB download (254 MB when extracted).

The instrument library for Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher (full version) costs $19 USD. You can save 30% on a purchase until September 9th with coupon code ELECTRICITY at checkout.
