sonicLAB has announced the release of a utility software which offers Large Language Model AI assistance to move sound objects in a virtual 3D acoustic space.
SPATAI translates the movement of multiple objects in cartiesian or polar coordinates in real-time, and sends this movement data to other 3D audio spatialization software which renders or encodes the audio present at its input channels according to these received movement instructions.
Imagine using text prompts to move the sound objects in 3D and do this coordinated with multiple objects to define their complex movement. Your prompt will be converted to appropriate equations which will run on a timeline. The 3D movement data will be translated to cartesian or polar coordinate system. And it will be performed and sent in real-time via OSC or MIDI to selected destination surround sound encoder or spatializer software.
SPATAI can work with any target software supporting OSC. Currently supported destinations are IEM MultiEncoder, Holophonix, Ircam SPAT, Ircam Panoramix, Yamaha AFC. We will add more in time, and SPATAI will grow without any third party dependency.
Available in VST/VST3, AU and standalone formats for Windows and macOS, SPATAI is priced at £10 GBP.
A pay-as-you-go model, SPATAI creates a token account for each user with a default deposit of 500,000 tokens. Each prompt submission consumes tokens and SPATAI requires a positive token balance to operate. All presets are self-contained and can be used without consuming tokens.
