Sonixinema has introduced a deeply expressive, versatile solo cello library performed by virtuoso cellist, Nicholas Trygstad. Featuring an expressive legato engine and a wide range of articulations, Heritage Cello captures the soul of the cello with warmth, realism, and detail.
At the heart of Heritage Cello is a multi-layered legato engine featuring three distinct legato types, from smooth lyrical transitions to agile expressive runs. In addition to legato, the library includes an extensive set of articulations: sustains, sul tasto, harmonics, tremolo, trills, staccato, spiccato, ricochets, and pizzicato – all captured with multiple round robins, dynamic layers, and performance realism in mind.
Sustained articulations include rebow round robins, infinite bow mode, and intensity control for fluid, evolving performances. All articulations include individual note round robin selector, tightness control and tuning for ultimate control and flexibility. With five microphone perspectives – Close, Mid, Far, Ambient, and Mix – users can sculpt their sound from intimate solo lines to wide cinematic textures.
Regularly priced £99 GBP, the Kontakt Player-powered library is on sale for the intro price of £79 GBP until June 12th, 2025.
Owners of any Intimate Legato or Contemporary Soloist instrument can get an additional 10% discount by logging into their account and using code HERITAGE at the checkout.
