Sonora Cinematic has introduced a new instrument library for Audiomodern’s Soundbox free sampler platform. The second installment in the developer’s acclaimed Transfigured Orchestra series builds on the intimate textures of Volume 1: A Quiet Ensemble.
Transfigured Orchestra Vol 2: Hybrid Gestures shifts the focus to dramatic, expressive movements that only the sound of an orchestra can deliver, combined with modern sound design for maximum impact.
Through grandiose crescendos, subtle orchestral waves, and bold hybrid textures, Transfigured Orchestra: Hybrid Gestures brings life and motion to compositions. The collection features 20 carefully crafted presets, some showcase clean, unprocessed recordings of natural crescendos and decrescendos, while others excel at delivering cinematic, organic sound design textures.
Recorded with a chamber-sized orchestra, Hybrid Gestures also includes separate sections of Violins, Violas, Celli, and Basses for added flexibility. Unique instrument additions such as the flugelhorn, introduce new tonal colors and character to the user’s palette.
