Sound Magic has announced a new virtual piano instrument featuring two distinct piano characters. Powered by the latest Neo Piano Yosemite Engine, Harmonia Grand aims to bring the character of an Italian F308 and Pop Grand.
At the heart of Harmonia Grand is the Italian F308, a Virtuoso Grade Fazioli F308 concert grand selected as one of only four Virtuoso Grade pianos from Supreme Piano 5. The piano offers a balanced and refined tone with exceptional continuity across the keyboard, making it especially suitable for melodic and atmospheric music.
The second instrument, Pop Grand, is a transparent-sounding baby grand piano designed for modern music production. Its clear and focused sound helps it sit naturally in mixes, making it particularly well suited for pop and contemporary styles.
Despite its compact ~860MB size, Harmonia Grand uses hybrid sampling and modeling to deliver a level of realism comparable to 354GB piano libraries, featuring dynamic sound behavior and rich string interaction.
Harmonia Grand also includes full MIDI 2.0 support, providing per-note expression, high-resolution velocity response, smooth pedal interaction and enhanced performance realism.
Harmonia Grand for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3 and AU) is on sale for the intro price of $169 USD for a limited time (regular $299 USD).
