Sounds.com, the daily source for loops and samples, powered by Native Instruments has announced availability in 21 new territories with four new currencies, a new free trial mode and three new subscription pricing tiers.

Just six months after a successful beta launch in the the U.S., the innovative online platform for music producers today rolls out to key global territories including Canada, Australia and the majority of Europe. The Beta platform hosting more than 650,000 royalty-free sounds – from orchestral scoring to pop, rock, and trap, also becomes available in a free 14-day trial mode, designed to showcase the full power of the platform for eager producers of all styles and abilities.

Harnessing feedback from thousands of users, Sounds.com also introduces three new pricing tiers catering to a range of user needs and a growing number of subscribers who requested access to more sounds. A new simplified credit system, where individual sounds are exchanged for single credits, will help creators keep track of downloads throughout the month.

Commenting on the news Native Instruments Chief Digital Officer Matthew Adell added:

“Today marks a new milestone for Sounds.com and Native Instruments’ journey. With a unique new free trial mode, new price options for users, and rapid international expansion we are cementing our commitment to democratize music creation and empower all users to create the future of music together. Now, with widened accessibility, better inventory, improved and competitive pricing plans, and some stellar artist collaborations, there has never been a better time to join the platform both as a user, and as a supplier.”

Current sounds available include loops and sample content from Native Instruments’ acclaimed Expansions – plus exclusive content from over 300 creators, including leading suppliers such as The Loop Loft, MVP Loops, and Symphonic Distribution. Furthermore, diverse artists and labels such as Grammy winner Latroit or prolific hip-hop producer Kid Capri have made content available exclusively for Sounds.com users. To round things off, curated collections from the Sounds.com team as well as from notable artists provide ready-made inspiration to producers of all skill levels and genres.

Sounds.com is the only sounds subscription service of its kind to offer a completely free full access trial version. Existing Pro users will also benefit from a bonus 150 credits for free being early adopters to the Beta. To further improve user tracking and transparency, a new online counter displaying how many sounds subscribers have downloaded will be prominently visible on the site.

Simplicity and ease-of-use remain central to the Sounds.com experience: All loops and samples are available to browse and preview, with no sign-up required; sounds are tagged and easily sortable by genre, key, BPM, and other attributes; and search functionality is powered by Native Instruments’ own MIR (Music Information Retrieval) algorithms, which helps users find exactly what they need, when they need it.

Suppliers benefit from Native Instruments’ expertise in empowering partners through platforms and technology. They can expect a simple, fluid process for hosting and distributing content, top-notch backend services, and access to Native Instruments’ global audience of music creators.
