Splice, the platform that powers music creation for millions of producers worldwide, has announced the arrival of Dharma Studio, a label from globally acclaimed artist and producer KSHMR.
In 2016, KSHMR helped define a new era of artist-led sound design as the first major artist to release an exclusive sample pack on Splice with Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 1. What began as a single pack became one of the most influential collections in modern production – with millions of downloads and sounds used in productions for Logic, DJ Snake, Selena Gomez, BLACKPINK, LISA, Meek Mill and countless other artists spanning many global genres.
Nearly a decade later, the series continues to set the standard: Vol. 3 was the most downloaded pack of 2025, and Vol. 4 debuted at #1 on Splice, remaining in the Top 10. In 2026, this collaboration expanded into a full sample label partnership with the launch of Dharma Studio on Splice.
Having redefined how electronic music producers access and use sound with Splice, KSHMR’s label launch is a new chapter in his decade-long partnership with Splice.
“Dharma Studio is the natural evolution of everything I’ve been building over the years,” said KSHMR. “With Splice we’ll be able to scale Dharma Studio in a way that gives producers some truly incredible sounds from all over the world.”
“There’s huge demand for KSHMR on Splice, his sounds are a key touchstone of our company’s future,” said Kenny Ochoa, SVP, Global Partnerships at Splice. “This label represents our huge trust and respect for KSHMR. Human-made samples are core to our platform and human artistry – we’re excited to hear how Splice customers will use new tools to engage with this sound design.”
The first release on Splice under Dharma Studio will be the highly anticipated Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 5. Breaking from previous formats, Vol. 5 contains over 6,000 sounds and expands beyond a single pack into a series of eight instrument-branded releases: Drums, Drum Loops, Drum Fills, FX, Songstarters, Instruments, Synths and Vocals.
“My goal with Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 5 was simple: assemble the best selection of every sound a producer might need,” said KSHMR. “With over 100 collaborators, from African singers to conga players, Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 5 is without a doubt my most ambitious pack to date, and I can’t wait to hear what producers make with it.”
Splice will roll out Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 5 with the Drums, Drum Loops, Drum Fills, and FX folders available immediately, and all subsequent folders dropping monthly. The complete bundle is available today on KSHMR’s Dharma Worldwide website.
As the industry navigates rapid technological change, Dharma Studio reinforces Splice’s clear commitment to authorship and agency, empowering the next generation of producers with the same global-minded perspective that has defined KSHMR’s career.
