XTRMRAW has introduced a utility plugin by Vi Ta Lee designed to split a one-shot kick sample into three main elements: Punch, Sub, and Tone.
Designed to save time and improve workflow, Puntone analyzes the sample, detects the pitch of each element, and separates the sound into clean layers with a single click.
The separated layers can be bounced directly to your computer, or simply drag the sounds from the plugin into your DAW.
No manual splitting, EQ carving, or complex resampling chains. Export the layers, combine punches from one kick with the sub of another, experiment with different tonal characters, and build entirely new drums in seconds.
Priced €19 EUR, Puntone is available in VST3 and AU plugin formats and as a standalone version for Windows and macOS.
