Standalone Audio has recently released a guitar amplifier emulation modeled after a 1971 American Silverface 5-watt combo. Restored, modified, and meticulously captured from Roan Zen Martin’s one of a kind amplifier project, Stella ’71 brings the interaction between its preamp, tone stack, power section, speaker, and cabinet.
Separate Volume and Master controls let you shape breakup without losing level control, while the Treble and Bass controls cover the original tone circuit. Switch to MOD mode (Tweed style mod), and the tone stack is bypassed, producing a louder, more immediate response with extra gain and harmonic bite.
The cabinet section includes Modern Condenser and Vintage Tube microphone options, and adjustable room capture.
Stella ’71 for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale for the intro price of $15 USD for a limited time. The plugin is free for owners of the Standalone plugin host during the introductory period.
