Steinberg has announced the release of a new HALion instrument library for composers, sound designers, and producer.
Nordic Noir by Cinematique Instruments offers a collection of dark sounds designed to evoke raw, spine-chilling emotions of subtle aggression and tension.
It features 80 different sound sources, including strings, synths, experimental tones from bowed instruments, and a custom ‘eerie board’ of different metals, springs and nails. It features effects, including reverb, delay, crush, and tape, and sounds can be further shaped with three independent layers, each offering full control over tuning and volume. There is also a Dice function for instant, unpredictable creativity.
Priced €79.99 EUR, Nordic Noir for HALion 7 and HALion Sonic 7 is available to purchase at the Steinberg store. The original Kontakt version is available for €79 EUR from Cinematique Instruments.
