SyncerSoft has announced the release of Analog Voice, a freeware synthesizer plug-in for Windows.

Analog Voice is vintage style subtractive synthesis synthesizer with extended possibilites of modulation.

It has 4 types of analog style sounding filters onboard and also has reverb and delay. Its good for creation of synthetic sounds – basses, leads and pads, etc. You can create phat and strange sounds with help of detune module.

Note: these SyncerSoft downloads come with a toolbar installation. I haven’t tried myself so I’m not sure if you can install the plugin with the toolbar…


I haven’t bothered to try these since It’s an .exe file and includes a pointless toolbar. I don’t get the .exe files used in freeware especially since you still have to direct it to your vst folder location of choice. You can just as easily put the .DLL file in the folder yourself.

That’s not to say a .dll file isn’t dangerous on it’s own, but still.


The toolbar is a way to make some money. Each toolbar installation is good for a commission, so it’s an alternative to donationware. Annoying yes, but the donationware model doesn’t usally work very well for free plugins so I understand why they’re trying this instead.

I haven’t tried it with these SyncerSoft downloads, but sometimes you can extract a .dll from an executable with programs like Universal Extractor.
