Techivation has announced the release of a new audio plugin that is designed to help keep your mix clean and controlled. Protector is a smart safety limiter that catches peaks early and preserves your sound’s clarity.
Techivation Protector is a lightweight safety limiter designed to prevent sudden level spikes. It transparently attenuates any audio that exceeds the user-set limit without introducing distortion.
Protector is based on the “Cut Only” mode of M-Leveller, but achieves similar results with lower latency and CPU load, making it ideal for live use.
Protector is included for free with every M-Leveller purchase until June 15th, 2025, after which it will be only available with the Full Access plan.
