Reverb has returned with its best-selling gear of the year lists.
From the nostalgia-driven electric guitar cohort and demand for artist signature pedals, to the battle between amps and modelers and much, much more, Reverb’s data-based rundown not only features an editorialized look at some of the top categories, but allows musicians to dig into the data at every level, from the best-selling pedals released in 2025, to the best-selling electric guitars of the year, new or otherwise.
“As musicians, we utilize Reverb’s data, from the Price Guide to our Indexes, to make decisions when buying and selling gear—and our best-selling gear lists have become a fun tradition that allows us to see where our favorite synths, pedals, and more fit into the grand scheme of things each year. By expanding our coverage and digging into our data, we’re giving musicians everywhere the ability to do the same.” – Reverb news’ editor-in-chief Joel Handley.
This year’s best-selling gear includes the Arturia MicroFreak, Ableton Push 2, Make Noise Maths, and the EHX/JHS Nano Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz.
