The Loop Loft has announced the release of Omar Hakim Drums Vol 2, a new collection of drum sessions by Omar Hakim.
The Groovesmith is back! Omar Hakim (David Bowie, Daft Punk, Miles Davis) Drums Volume 2 picks up where his critically-acclaimed Volume 1 release left off. Featuring 8 complete sessions in styles ranging from blues, rock, fusion, funk, indie rock and folk, this massive collection gives you instant access to one of the world’s most renowned session drummers.
The Deluxe Version provides users with up to 19 channels of separate audio tracks, allowing you to mix every element of Omar’s drum kit, including kick, snare, toms, overheads and a multitude of room mics.
The stereo versions feature 232 unique grooves, fills and breakdowns in your choice of WAV, AIFF (Apple Loops), REX2, Stylus RMX and MIDI. In addition, samples of Omar’s entire kit are included, allowing you to drag and drop his signature drum sound into any sampler.
Omar Hakim Drums Vol 2 is available for purchase for the introductory price of $39 USD until January 26th, 2016, 12:00am ET (regular $49 USD). The pack is also included in the Omar Hakim Drums Bundle, which is on sale for $58 USD.
