Sound design boutique company The Very Loud Indeed Co. has introduced a collection of 120 new cinematic patches for the Omnisphere 3 virtual instrument by Spectrasonics.
Radio includes 123 new sound sources which have been recorded and designed specifically for this soundset. It only uses these new sound sources and does not recycle the stock ones in Omnisphere or any other previous set from the company.
“With this collection, I set out to design a soundset that combines electronic elements like complex wavetables with acoustic recordings, and processing and sculpting them in a way that makes them interesting but very useful. Most of the patches feel organic, even if many of their origins are synthesized. This makes Radio ideal for scoring projects like thrillers, dark drama and crime shows, but it’s also very handy for easily spicing up action and horror cues.” – The Very Loud Indeed Co. founder and sound designer Richie Nieto
Omnisphere 3 Radio is available now at the introductory price of $19 USD until August 20th, 2026 (regular $29 USD).
