Time Off Audio has announced the release of an audio plugin which allows you to split any audio signal into up to 5 frequency bands, and build effect chains with your own VST3/AU plugins.
Each of the bands of dime[mb] has its own plugin chain, dry/wet and trim sliders, and solo and mute toggles.
Multiband processing has traditionally been either limited, or complex to set up and use. You either hope that your favourite plugin has frequency isolation capabilities, or you attempt to setup complicated routing in your DAW and pray phase issues don’t ruin your mix.
