Toneboosters has announced an update to its audio plugins, bringing many improvements and fixes across the complete range of effects and instruments.
Version 2.1.5 of the installer offers improvements to UI performance, spectrum analyzer audio thread performance, and gesture discrimination between clicking and dragging, a new feature to enable/disable GPU refresh rate throttling, improved undo/redo functionality, a new option to customize color schemes, and many stability and efficiency improvements.
Changes in the update
- UI responsiveness and UX customization improvements: Various new UI/UX and efficiency improvements include the option to customize UI color schemes, smoother and faster screen updates and dynamics, and providing significantly lower CPU loads.
- MIDI learn: Flowtones, Lowtone, and Equalizer Pro now support MIDI learn to map incoming MIDI CC messages directly to plugin parameters.
- Improved Undo/Redo: Tonebooster has largely rewritten plugin undo/redo functionality to better work in conjunction with host automation.
- New headphones profiles in the Morphit headphones correction solution: Morphit now approaches 700 headphones correction profiles.
