Toontrack has released new MIDI collections developed primarily for use with the company’s organ-centric expansions for EZkeys.
The packs contains 200 individual files each:
- Ska/Reggae: Pulsing smoothly beneath the groove or cutting sharply on the offbeat alongside guitar and vocals, Hammonds, Voxes, Farfisas and other classic organs have been a mainstay in the percussive backbone of ska, reggae, rocksteady and dub since day one.
- Indie Rock: In some of indie rock’s most memorable moments, the organ is the absolute star. With its texture, growl and uncanny ability to latch onto hooks like crazy glue, it’s one of those staple instruments you can drop into almost any track. Once it’s there, it sticks for good and you’ll likely wonder what you’d ever done without it.
- Garage Rock: Loud, rowdy and full of character, classic organs haven’t just permeated the soul of rock – they have virtually defined it. Balancing rhythm, harmony and melody – sometimes all at once – they’re the kind of instruments that can take the backseat or the limelight and still make a splash, purely by how they cut through.
