Tracktion has announced the release of new expansion packs from Hydratek for two of Dawesome Music’s virtual instruments.
Entropie features a collection of 50 patches for the Kult synth, built on instability, transformation, and expressive unpredictability.
It explores experimental sequences, warped arpeggios, vibrant pads, abrasive basses, and organic drones shaped by tension and motion. Every patch is MPE enabled, mod-wheel assigned, and designed for hands on play, encouraging performance over passive browsing. At its core lies the balance between chaos and order, yielding sounds that twist between aggression and restraint. Imperfect yet alive, ENTROPIE offers forward thinking artists evolving textures for film, games, and experimental electronic music.
Also available is Schatten for Novum, an expansion with 50 presets crafted to inspire evolving soundscapes that pulse with emotion and possibility.
Hybrid acoustic sources—cello, flute, guitar, celesta—transformed through granular motion into organic, abstract textures that feel alive. These are not static samples but responsive instruments: subtle gestures shift balance, reveal depth, and reshape tone. Built for movement, for chords that breathe, they invite exploration of what lies between clarity and obscurity.
Regularly priced $29 USD each, the expansion packs are on sale for the intro price of $19 USD each until May 1st, 2026. Kult and Novum are also 30% off, and a purchase comes with the respective expansion for free during the promotion.
