Voxengo has released version 2.1 of Warmifier, a valve warming/harmonic enhancing effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
While the effect of this plugin is definitely subtle, the difference it makes is similar to the difference in sound between different analog mixing consoles. In most cases it boils down to adding a subtle “sparkle”, “presence”, “warming” or “solidifying” effect to a sound track it was applied to.
Changes in Warmifier v2.1
- Fixed CPU overload in Sonar X3.
- Reduced overall CPU load by 15%.
- Added VST3 support.
