Wavesfactory has announced an update to its intelligent de-esser effect plugin. Version 1.0.2 of Re-Esser comes with a new dark mode.

Re-Esser reimagines what a de-esser can be, it’s the new evolution of vocal control. It separates sibilance from tonal, letting you shape vocals and dialogue with a precision and creativity no de-esser has ever offered.

The update also fixes crashes in Bitwig, FL Studio and WaveLab, and the demo watermark is now quieter and only shows up every 3 minutes.

A free update for existing users, new customers can still purchase Re-Esser for 69 USD/EUR at Plugin Boutique and from the Wavesfactory store (regular 99 USD/EUR). The sale expires December 8th, 2025.
