Wavesfactory has announced an update to its audio plugin which allows you to separates sibilance from tonal to shape vocals and dialogue with a precision and creativity.
Version 1.0.3 of Re-Esser features a realtime spectrum analyzer on the EQ graph and a new formant shifting effect.
Re-Esser is the next generation of de-essing. By intelligently separating sibilance from the tonal elements of your audio, it lets you process each layer independently. You gain surgical control to tame harshness while preserving, or even enhancing, the sparkle and detail that make vocals shine.
It also does the simple things better. Re-Esser can do what the best de-essers do in a fraction of the time, just turn down the sibilance level with a single control. No thresholds, no tweaking, no guesswork. And when you’re ready to go further, it unlocks a world of possibilities that no traditional de-esser could ever offer.
Changes in Re-Esser v1.0.3

Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for Windows and macOS, Re-Esser is priced 99 USD/EUR at Plugin Boutique and from the Wavesfactory store. The update is free for existing users.
