Xeni Audio has introduced a new audio plugin which delivers per-band dynamic ducking driven by a partner track’s spectrum. An anti-masking spectral dynamics effect plugin, SpectralMediator looks at what frequencies are actually clashing and ducks only those.
The plugin pairs up to 16 instances with bidirectional local/remote control from a single window. It features dual real-time FFT analyzers with draggable HP/LP limits, and per-side envelope shaping.
Two tracks fighting for the same frequencies? Let them negotiate. Drop one instance on each track, pair them, and they exchange their FFT spectra in real time through shared memory — each one ducks only the frequencies where its partner is actually masking it, only while the partner is loud. No static EQ cuts, no full-band sidechain.
Available in VST3, AU and CLAP formats for Windows, macOS and Linux, SpectralMediator is on sale for the intro price of €9 EUR until June 1st, 2026 (regular €29 EUR).
