XILS-lab has announced updates to its XILS 3 and XILS 3 LE synthesizer plug-ins for Windows and Mac.
XILS 3 is based on the architecture of the classic matrix based VCS3 modular synth.
The full XILS 3 version 1.5.0 is now 64 bits compatible, but also is the very low cost limited edition XILS 3 LE version 1.0.8
Changes in XILS 3 / XILS 3 LE
- 64 bits compatibility.
- No more arrow for preset selection, click on the entire name.
- On Mac OSX: user and factory preset folders changed (no more in /Applications).
- On Windows: default install folder changed.
- New option: Popup with mouse over.
- Mac: better click on the matrix dots.
- Preset management bug fixed.
XILS 3 for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/RTAS) is available to purchase for 149 EUR; XILS 3 LE is 30 EUR.
