Version 1.3.5 of Raizes Player is now available as a free download for everyone, removing the previous requirement of a product purchase to access the software.
With its 6-layer audio engine, dual filters, 36 FX slots, and a comprehensive modulation system, Raizes is a true creative powerhouse.
Now featuring an intelligent MIDI generative engine and a curated library of over 1,200 MIDI files, Raizes goes beyond sound design to become a foundational tool for your entire composition. Fully compatible with MPE devices, it is the ultimate environment for producers and composers looking to unlock new levels of expression and inventiveness.
The player now includes a built-in factory library featuring 58 presets, specifically curated for cinematic and experimental production, organized into four primary categories:
- Drones & Evolving Textures: Deep atmospheric soundscapes.
- MPE Dimensions: Presets designed for expressive control via MPE-compatible devices.
- Narratives: Cinematic keys and tonal textures.
- Tension Layers: Tools designed for building suspense and underscore.
In addition to the new free pricing model, the update integrates several significant functional updates:
- Logic-Based MIDI Generator: A new songwriting tool that generates harmonically accurate progressions across various scales, including Major, Lydian, Phrygian Dominant, and various exotic or diminished scales. It supports chord structures ranging from simple triads to complex cluster chords, with a direct MIDI export function for DAWs.
- Expanded MIDI Library: The update introduces a collection of over 1,200 MIDI files. These are categorized into thematic folders such as Cinematic Suspense, Ambient Shimmer, and Textural Clouds to assist in rapid workflow development.
- Granular FX: A new granular processing module has been added to the effects section, allowing users to deconstruct audio into grains for textural and ambient sound design.
