ZenSound has introduced a new soundset featuring a collection of 130 silky, lush and deep cinematic patches for the iconic Roland Jupiter 8 emulation TAL-J-8 by Togu Audio Line.
Powerful but clean enough to cut through the mix, Revyth contains a selection of essential and versatile patches designed for electronica and cinematic genres.
The classic J-8 sound inspired by the music of Vangelis, John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream and modern artists like Le Matos, Rival Consoles, M83, SURVIVE and OGRE. Silky, lush and deep Revyth is formed by intriguing arps, deep pulsating basses, stacked leads, lush pads, beautiful keys and damaged synths.
Revyth makes use of J-8 distinctive characteristics: two layer sequences running in different time signatures, making ever changing poly rhythmic arpeggios. Slightly damaged cross modulated VCOs, lush and beefy stacked chords in dual mode and the split keyboard mode, one octave up is a different sound than one octave down.
Lastly like in analogue synths, each patch uses different voice calibration settings; each time a new note is pressed there are subtle sound variations and imperfections.
Revyth is priced €19 EUR, and the new soundset is part of the TAL-J-8 Bundle, which also includes Ryoko, Virgo and Moebius.
