Zplane has announced the release of a major update to its real-time stem separation plugin for Windows and macOS (VST3, AU and AAX). Version 2 offers considerable advancements in speed, sound quality, and usability over version 1. The update makes real-time stem separation even more responsive and practical in everyday DAW workflows.
Peel Stems 2 is powered by the latest version of zplane’s proprietary real-time stem separation technology, reducing processing latency from 483ms to 245ms @ 44.1kHz, with continued support for Intel Macs (processing latency of 385ms). At the same time, separation quality and clarity have been improved. A redesigned interface provides clearer visual feedback and faster, more intuitive operation.

Peel Stems 2 is available to purchase for €59 EUR / $70 USD at Plugin Boutique and from the zplane store. Owners of the original Peel Stems can upgrade for €19 EUR.
