Arturia has announced that its iSEM synthesizer app for iOS is now compatible with Apple’s new Audio Unit Extension format.
We are proud to announce that our award winning recreation of the Oberheim SEM, iSEM, is the first iPad musical instrument to benefit from a full compatibility with Audio Unit Extension.
This allows iSEM to be launched directly in an Audio Unit host, such as Garage Band, offering on your iPad the same comfort and workflow as with a computer-based home studio!
iSEM is available for purchase for 9.99 EUR/USD.
Arturia has also released firmware version 1.3 of BeatStep Pro.
With this new update, BeatStep Pro is more powerful than ever. It will become the ultimate companion to your live or studio sessions. This firmware update adds more features, more possibilities.
The sequencer is enhanced with quantized pattern launch and pattern chains, parameters can now be edited for all steps at once and an improved song position algorithm keeps BeatStep Pro synchronized at all times. This is just a glimpse of the new features.
The new firmware is available through the Arturia MIDI Control Center.
