Soundiron has announced the release of Shudder, a collection of 501 mangled, nightmarish cinematic effects, drones and dark soundscapes.

It’s killer for horror and suspense soundtracks and games, dark electronic music, or just adding a touch of grunge to any production. Each sound been designed using hard-hitting instrumental sources, hauntingly corrupted noise makers, analog synth drones, bones breaking (vegetables), screeching metals, and whatever we could get our hands on.

Each sound has been carefully sculpted by sound designer Spencer Nunamaker of Juno VHS, with awesome detail and nuanced character. With 8 categories of Hits, Stingers and dramatic Risers, and 3 categories of dark textural ambiences, soundscapes, drone pads and horror atmospheres.

Our Kontakt UI has all your essential controls right there for quick automation and easy customization. Check out Spencer’s walk-through video to see and hear how easy it is to dial it all in. You’ve also got a full rack FX page that you can custom route to generate some excellent creative and tonal effects. And of course, you get over 100 of our favorite real-world captured and sound-designed FX convolution impulses.
