Whiteboxsynthmakers’ Nick Dwyer has taken a Jimi Hendrix amp model, a couple of marimba samples off an early Beta of Live 9, some street bells, a Fairlight choir mix and balanced them altogether into this lush, heady, slightly 80′s soundscaper.
Whitebox Synth Makers has introduced the Quartet Pack, a new free sound library for Ableton Live.
WHITEBOX Quartet PACK. Nick Dwyer offers another free Ableton Live 9 pack. This one consists of 4 lead/pad combinations for ethereal sounds with a cutting edge.

The Quartet Pack is a free download at Whitebox. Max For Live NOT required.

Samplephonics has released 909, a multi-sampled drum hits sound library.
The Kontakt version of Samplephonics 909 comes with a custom sequencer.
Expect to find over 4000 24 Bit Wav samples, meticulously sampled through two inputs, one clean, and one through a Thermionic Culture ‘Culture Vulture’ to provide some real analogue tube warmth and extra beef!
This sample library is available to download with a deeply scripted sequencer for Kontakt 5 (please note the full version of Kontakt 5 is required to run this and the instrument only works in demo mode with the Kontakt Free Player.) Create, copy, paste and edit patterns and even play live. We’ve kept many features true to the original (and added a few more necessities) and we believe this to be the closest software equivelent to the real thing.
Take your music back to it’s roots and inject some truly authentic drum samples into your next production. The 909 is back!
Samplephonics 909 features
4054 24 Bit Wav samples, available in 96khz and 44.1khz sample rates.
Clean and real Analogue Tube input sources available.

Detunized has announced the release of “Piano”, an Upright Piano in a small venue.
Detunized Piano translates the spirit of a pretty old and battered Upright Piano into digital realms. Hosted in a small venue right beside an auto shop this particular Piano has undergone numerous Jazz and Blues sessions throughout the decades.
The Live Pack delivers the multi-sampled and velocity-layered Piano with separately adjustable sustain and release levels plus 7 additional instruments that push the classic piano sound far beyond the original.
Detunized Piano in Universal Format contains the velocity-layered sustain samples plus release sounds in separate patches.
Both patches can be combined in numerous software samplers like Kontakt, NN-XT, EXS 24, Halion, DirectWave, Dimension as well as each other software sampler that reads Cakewalk SFZ files.
Whitebox Synth Makers has introduced the Samurai Pack, a free sound library for Ableton Live 9.
