Applied Acoustics Systems has announced a pre-release promotion for its upcoming Lounge Lizard EP-4 virtual electric piano instrument for Windows and Mac.

Patchpool has announced the release of Modelled Reality, a soundset for the Chromaphone creative percussion synthesizer by Applied Acoustics Systems.

Modelled Reality focusses on physically modelled instruments like chromatic and achromatic percussion and mallets from different musical cultures, flute and string sounds, gentle and hypnotic pads and soundscapes, expressive synths and fat bass sounds, temposynced madness as well as mysterious and ethereal textures from a different reality.

Modelled Reality is scheduled for release mid October, 2012. It is now available to pre-order for 16 EUR (20% off regular price of 20 EUR).
