Soundsdivine has announced the release of Creative Impulses, a collection of impulse responses.
A small collection of 64 unique stereo impulse responses made using a range of hardware reverbs in combination with a eurorack modular system.
All IRs are 24bit / 96kHz in .wav format.
The library is available for purchase for 9 EUR. Requires a convolution reverb plug-in.
Creative Impulses are now included with MM+ instrument. Previous customers of MM+ can get a free copy of impulse library.

iMusicAlbum has announced the release of AltiSpace, a convolution reverb for iPad and iPhone.
The realistic sound of famous reverb equipment for your iPad and iPhone! Includes a large built-in library of the highest quality reverb impulses taken from actual devices and the possibility to upload your own reverb space impulses. Intuitive and compact user interface for maximum ease and efficiency.
What is the convolution reverb?
Briefly, convolution reverb is based on a process that digitally ‘captures’ the reverb characteristics of another reverb effects unit or the reverb response of a real acoustic space. It is based on the mathematical convolution operation, and uses a pre-recorded audio sample of the impulse response of the device or space being modeled. The process of convolution multiplies each sample of the audio to be processed (reverberated) with the samples in the impulse response file.
- High-quality, fast convolution algorithm.
- Parametric equaliser with high and low pass filters.
- Impulse response envelope editor with “reverse” function.
- Amplitude and frequence modulator.
- Stereo width control.
- Built-in library that contains more than 200 impulse responses from famous analogue and digital reverbs.
- Upload additional impulse responses in different audio formats.
- Preset hotkeys, possibility to save current sample and its params.
The app is available for purchase for $5.99 USD.

Diego Stocco has introduced FFS // Convoluted Anode Bonus, a free collection of impulse responses based on sounds made with the MeeBlip Anode, a synthesizer by James Grahame and Peter Kirn.
“FFS // Convoluted Anode Bonus” is a mini set of 15 Impulse Responses specifically designed for the processing of beats and percussive instruments. You can download it for free or “pay what you want”.
I created them for the rhythmic convolution processing you can hear in my track “Convoluted Anode”: https://soundcloud.com/diegostocco/convoluted-anode-diego-stocco
If you’re interested in this processing technique, check out “FFS // Rhythmic Convolutions“, a set of 200 impulse responses made from organic sources and materials.

Time+Space has announced the release of Extreme Environments, a soundscape creator instrument library by Zero-G and Si Begg.
Zero-G Extreme Environments combines a state-of-the-art Kontakt user interface with loops and impulse responses to produce a highly flexible tool for creating very rich, detailed and hyper-real sounds – from beds and drones to actual pads and instruments you can play.
Produced by Si Begg, the sound design supremo behind other Zero-G titles including Distorted Dancefloors and Electro Glitch Essentials, Extreme Environments features three channels where you can select any one of the 142 loops.
For each channel you can then control the pitch, time stretch, amplitude & filter envelopes, saturation and reverb send. All three channels are then mixed together and put through master high pass and low pass filters, then finally a limiter.
The other key part of the instrument is the convolution reverb, which any of the three channels can be sent to. You can choose any one of the 86 bespoke impulse responses, ranging from straightforward to extreme sound design. This adds great depth and atmospheric detail beyond the standard reverbs you might usually come across. The combination of all these features makes for an almost limitless palette of sound creation.
Extreme Environments features
- Kontakt Instrument with custom GUI and over 150 presets (requires Kontakt version 5.3.0 or later).
- Audio loops – available as AIFF Apple Loops or Acidized wav files.
- Impulse responses for use with any convolution reverb.
- Logic EXS24 Instruments and Reason NN-XT Instruments.
- Space Designer Presets.
- Logic Channel Strip Settings.
Extreme Environments is available for purchase for RRP £59.95 GBP / 74.95 EUR.

Diego Stocco has announced Percussive Echoes Bonus, a free collection of impulse responses.
“FFS // Percussive Echoes Bonus” is a mini collection of 10 Impulse Responses specifically designed for the processing of beats, drum machines, real drums, percussions, beat boxing and percussive instruments. You can download it for free or “pay what you want”.
I created them for the convolution processing you can hear in my track “Percussive Echoes” (no other reverbs or impulse responses used): https://soundcloud.com/diegostocco/percussive-echoes-diego-stocco

Diego Stocco has announced FFS // Rhythmic Convolutions, a set of 200 Impulse Responses made from organic sounding sources and materials.
“FFS // Rhythmic Convolutions” is a collection of Impulse Responses specifically designed for the processing of rhythmic material and instruments like drum machines, real drums and percussions, beat boxing and in general instruments that have a percussive quality.
This is a set of 200 Impulse Responses that I made from organic sounding sources and materials like metal, glass, paper, rubber, wood, water, etc.. they are organized into 10 sonic themes, but they can also be mixed together to create hybrid sounding results.
The pack is available for purchase for $29.99 USD.

Balance Mastering has announced a free collection of Funktion One impulse responses, recorded at the The Hive Project in London.
The Hive Project—The Yard Theatre, Hackney Wick’s night time alter ego—let us have a few hours in on their Funktion One soundsystem.
Many tinnitus inducing tones, coloured noises and hours of studio tweaking later, we came up with a set of impulse responses that turn your convolution plugin into a mix tool for club soundsystem music. But even if your music isn’t club related, these impulse responses give a fresh perspective on the mix of any genre.
Load these IRs into your convolution plugin and hear what your music sounds like on The Hive Project’s Funktion One rig.
The IR pack is a free download.
