2Rule has launched SynthTrack, a free rhythmic effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
SynthTrack is a rhythmic effect plugin that uses track audio as a source. Applied to audio tracks (chords, vocals, etc.), this plugin makes Filter/Amp ADSR and LFO effects triggered by 16 step sequencer pattern. With this effect, you can change the rhythmic characteristic of the wave in the track.
It’s suitable for creating typical rhythmic gated pad sounds. With the envelope controlled step sequencer, it’s possible to turn your pad sound into an arp-like sequence. This plugin can be synchronized to the host sequencer / DAW tempo when available.
